The Shewbridge home is a beautiful example of Southwest Contemporary architecture by Tucson architect, Marc Soloway. Set atop a hillside, the bold, angular roof lines provide contrast to the surrounding rugged desert. Preserving mountain views, the rising triangular roof line is self-supporting and raises the sight line within the home well above the top of the mountain range. Inside, artwork meets architecture, creating excitement, with curved walls and ceiling details to guide the eye through large multi-slide doors, allowing the inside to merge with the outside. Continuing this theme, the infinity-edge pool is surrounded with transparent glass rails to provide unobstructed views.
